Vitruvian Health Data Breach

On or around July 11, 2024, Vitruvian Health were advised that a third-party vendor, Nationwide Recovery Service (“NRS”) had experienced a data breach affecting the information of Vitruvian Health patients. Based on a forensic investigation, Vitruvian Health and NRS determined that cybercriminals successfully infiltrated the inadequately secured computer environment and gained access to certain Vitruvian Health data files. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and/or acquired files containing the sensitive personal information of 88,848 individuals.

Did You Receive a Data Breach Letter From Vitruvian Health or NRS?

The information exposed in the data breach includes, but is not limited to:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Financial account information
  • Medical information

As a result of the Vitruvian Health data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
