Via Credit Union (ViaCU) Data Breach

Via Credit Union (“ViaCU”) recently detected suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, ViaCU determined that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer environment and thereby accessed its data files from January 18, 2025 through January 20, 2025. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals were able to access and even copy files containing the sensitive personal information of 60,853 individuals.
