Trident Maritime Systems (TMS) Data Breach

In February 2023, Trident Maritime Systems LLC (“TMS” or “Trident Maritime Systems”) recently detected suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, TMS determined that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer environment and thereby gained access to its data files between February 1, 2023 and February 10, 2023. Trident Maritime Systems further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals may have accessed and even copies files containing the sensitive personal information of thousands of individuals.
