St. Joseph’s College of Maine Data Breach

St. Joseph’s College of Maine (“St. Joseph’s”) recently detected suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, St. Joseph’s determined that unauthorized cybercriminals gained access to St. Joseph’s network and data files from December 15, 2023, and January 24, 2024. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed files containing the sensitive personal information of 126,580 individuals.
