On July 5, 2022, Methodist McKinney Hospital became aware of a likely data breach involving its network. Based on a forensic investigation, Methodist McKinney Hospital confirmed that cybercriminals had infiltrated its systems and gained unauthorized access to certain files, including files containing patients’ personal and protected health information.
