Laboratory Services Cooperative Data Breach

On or around October 27, 2024, Laboratory Services Cooperative(“LSC”) identified suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, LSC determined that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer environment and accessed certain data files. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and stole files containing the sensitive personal information of 1,600,000 individuals.
