On September 28, 2023, ESO Solutions, Inc. (“ESO”) detected unusual activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, ESO confirmed that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer systems and gained access to, and potentially acquired, files containing the sensitive personal information of 2,700,000 individuals.
