On or about March 9, 2023, Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. (“Cummins Behavioral Health”) detected unusual activity on its internal network, indicating a data breach. Based on an investigation, Cummins Behavioral Health confirmed that cybercriminals gained access to its systems and potentially acquired the sensitive personal information of at least 157,688 individuals. The personal information compromised in the data breach, includes names and Social Security numbers.

As a result of the data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
