Community First Medical Center Data Breach

Community First Medical Center (“Community First Medical”) recently detected unusual activity on its network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Community First Medical confirmed that cybercriminals had infiltrated its computer systems and had accessed the sensitive patient information of 216,047 patients on or about July 12, 2023.

  • Social Security numbers

As a result of the data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
