On November 2, 2022, Cincinnati State Technical Community College (“Cincinnati State”) became aware of a suspicious cybersecurity incident involving its network, indicating a likely data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Cincinnati State confirmed that cybercriminals had infiltrated its network and removed certain files between October 30, 2022 and November 2, 2022. The investigation determined that the files stolen by cybercriminals contained the personal information of 408,189 individuals.
