On or about March 5, 2023, Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists LLC (“Bienville”) detected unusual activity on its network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Bienville confirmed that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured network and gained access to certain data stored on its systems between February 3, 2023, and March 5, 2023. Bienville further determined that through this infiltration, cybercriminals accessed or acquired the sensitive personal information of at least 242,986 individuals.
