On September 1, 2021, Apria Healthcare LLC (“Apria Healthcare”) received notice of unusual activity on its internal network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Apria Healthcare confirmed that unauthorized cybercriminals gained access to its computer system between at least April 5, 2019 to May 7, 2019, and again from August 27, 2021 to October 10, 2021. Apria Healthcare further confirmed that the accessed systems contained the electronically stored personal information of at least 1,869,598 individuals.
