Recently, Aldrich Services LLP d/b/a Aldrich Advisors (“Aldrich”) became aware of suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, Aldrich determined that cybercriminals infiltrated this inadequately secured network and gained access to its files from August 22, 2026 through August 23, 2026. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and/or acquired files containing the sensitive personal information of thousands of individuals.
The personal information exposed in the data breach may have included:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Dates of birth
- Financial account information
- Other personal information
As a result of the Aldrich data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
