Acadia Health/Just Kid’s Dental Data Breach

On or about August 8, 2023, Acadia Health, LLC d/b/a Just Kids Dental’s (“Just Kid’s Dental”) detected unusual activity on its internal network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Just Kid’s Dental confirmed that cybercriminals had successfully infiltrated its network and gained access to the sensitive personal information of at least 129,623 individuals.

  • Dates of birth
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • Health insurance information
  • Treatment information
  • Medical information

As a result of the data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
