Farmers Insurance Data Breach

On or about May 30, 2025, Farmers Insurance Exchange, Farmers Group, Inc., and their affiliates (collectively, “Farmers”) became aware of suspicious activity on the computer network of one of Farmers’ vendors. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, Farmers determined that cybercriminals infiltrated this inadequately secured database on or around May 29, 2025. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals accessed and acquired files containing the sensitive personal information of 1,071,172 individuals.
