Albany ENT & Allergy Services Data Breach

On or around March 27, 2023, Albany ENT & Allergy Services, PC. (“AENT”) became aware of suspicious activity on our computer network. Based on a third-party forensic investigation, AENT confirmed that, between March 23, 2023 and April 4, 2023, unauthorized cybercriminals accessed certain systems. AENT further determined that the systems accessed by cybercriminals included the personal information of at least 224,486 individuals.

Did You Receive a Data Breach Letter From AENT?

The personal information accessed by cybercriminals in the data breach includes:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Patient information
  • Health information
  • Employee information

As a result of the data breach, these individuals’ personal and highly confidential information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity fraud.
